Why Choose Trinity?

为什么选择我们?

Quality, Caring Educators

Teachers at Trinity go above and beyond to get to know each student and help them discover their talents, needs, and abilities to help them on the road to success.

Exciting Extracurricular Choices

Trinity offers tons of opportunities beyond classroom learning, such as a wide variety of electives, including a Drama Program led by a Broadway trained Director, and after school activities such as Mentoring and Robotics offered by local community members.

Individualized Student Support

Our Educational Services department works with parents, students, and local school systems to advocate for student needs, including IEP and 504 plans, making sure students are getting the care and assistance they need to succeed.

Top-Notch Athletics Program

We offer a variety of athletics teams and opportunities, including Basketball, Soccer, Cheerleading, and Aerobic Walking to promote fitness and healthy habits.

First-Rate Curriculum

Our curriculum not only meets Maryland State Standards, it exceeds them!  We start with the standards and add depth, complexity, and personalization with the opportunity for growth.

Integrated Technology

Students need to be comfortable with technology in today's world, and the world of the future.  Trinity incorporates technology in each classroom to build those skills, giving our students an edge in their future.

ADMINISTRATION

RANDY GAST, Head of School - Ext.114 - rgast@tlsonline.org

Welcome to Trinity Lutheran Christian School! TLCS serves students from infant through grade 8 from a wide variety of faith and cultural backgrounds, and TLCS draws students from Harford, Cecil, Baltimore Counties as well as Baltimore City.

At TLCS we could speak about the activities we offer, the challenging curriculum, but that is not at our core. We aspire to prepare the next generation of Christian young people and leaders in a world that is complex as we enrich their lives with skills built for equipping our students to live Biblically-informed lives. We use these values as guidelines for behavior and a plan for the future as we prepare the next generation of Christian leaders.

This special environment focuses on developing creative thinking, critical assessment and promoting growth within our community, but also for the greater good of mankind and our surroundings.  I invite you to come and to experience the joy that we live at TLCS. Experience the atmosphere, the ethos, the challenging and rigorous curriculum, but, most of all the gospel of our Lord and Savior that leads TLCS every day.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Our goals for all of our courses are to foster independent thinking, encourage in-depth exploration of the content, develop academic habits of mind and skills in collaboration and communication. Our Middle School students are prepared for the next chapter in their school lives.

Our Middle School centers our learning on developing a personal relationship with each child to understand their personal needs and thus design lessons to match those needs.

Students use interactive whiteboards and laptops or computers in providing student involvement, guided learning and research. Collaborative learning of working in pairs and hands on group projects and experiments is also provided. Students are encouraged to explore different ways of solving problems to enhance their thinking. Students learn the art of organization, note-taking and acquire knowledge on using online learning sites such as Google Classroom.

Our faculty at TLCS have always been one of our outstanding and unique benefits. All teachers are specialists who teach in their major curriculum area. They are valuable assets enabling us to offer outstanding total school experience for our students.
